"The Family Romance" was my first fotofiction, defined as a conventional novel with photo illustrations; however, the text is missing and the reader has to recreate the story solely from the photos. The images came from Atlantic City, New Jersey, in 1977, the last year before casino gambling arrived. I liked to go on major holidays when interesting characters would appear for a stroll on the boardwalk.
